Smart Circle and Orangewood Shelter

Smart Circle firmly believes that it is our responsibility as a company and its employees to give back to the community in which we work. As part of a company wide initiative, we have taken it upon ourselves to volunteer at the Orangewood Children and Family Center. This is Orange County's only emergency shelter for neglected and sexually, physically, or emotionally abused children. Each year that the shelter has been around, there have been over one thousand children who have been removed from hostile living situations and placed under protective custody.


Since 2014, Smart Circle has not only spent time volunteering at Orangewood as  group, but also provides support for the start of the new school year by way of backpacks and school supplies. The opportunity has become a tradition at Smart Circle and we look forward to not just supporting the kids at the start of the school year, but also when we visit about once every quarter.

The group at Smart Circle has enjoyed playing all types of games, making crafts, coloring, and simply hanging out with the kids so they have someone to talk with. Each time we have gone it has been well worth the effort. Children are the future and these kids need any love and support they can get. We look froward to continued visits at Orangewood as the Smart Circle team in Newport Beach hope to make a positive change in our community.
